The story begins as Lydia Grace takes a suitcase full of seeds to visit her Uncle Jim. This secret is a rooftop garden that she has created for her Uncle. And we learn about her activities, and her fabulous garden, through the letters she writes to send back home.

Compost Stew: An A to Z Recipe for the Earth by Mary McKenna Siddals

It’s never too early to teach children about the value in protecting the earth. This book educates early learners about how to build a compost pile. And it does it in a simple way that kids can understand.
